A pop-up market for craft, art and design

The Pop-up Design Supermarkt took place at Superloop Studio in Kiel, in the courtyard of Baustraße 2. It was organized by the studio together with the artists Doumorh El-Riz and Frieder Dillmann. Superloop stands for craft, collaboration and visuals you can almost touch, and that is what the day felt like.
Ceramics, 3D objects, live illustration, jewelry, fashion, music and food came together in one place. Doumorh showed tufting live, and there was coffee, mulled wine and waffles. It was cold, and a lot of people came anyway.
I showed photographs from my series Yūgen, sold postcards of the motifs and took orders for posters. It was an honor to be part of a day with so many talented people, and I’m grateful for the conversations and the connections that came out of it.
